Approaches for Increasing Productivity

Share your love

Everyone today aspires to maximize his potential and have a positive impact on the world around him. No one has contributed more time than anyone else. Some people make good use of it, while others waste it. The question then becomes how best to maximize our potential. Please tell me the short cuts. And if you follow the advice I give in this post, you just might be the future President of the United States of America. Ha ha.

What follows are suggestions I use in my own life and which you may find useful as well.

Picture It Before You Do It

Please sharpen your axe before attempting to fell that tree.

Time, yes; money, no. Visualize the process from start to finish in your mind. Visualize the entire process, from starting out to finishing strong. The procedure you’ll follow to get the job done.

What would you do if, for example, you were ordered to get some fresh produce at the nearest supermarket? To obtain veggies, you first make sure you have enough cash, then consider alternate routes, finally settle on one, visit the store, make your purchase, and finally, return along the same route you took to get there.

Therefore, you should adopt the same approach in all of your endeavors. It could be anything from taking Notes on a subject to finishing a project by the due date to coding an app. Don’t forget to visualize your plan of action beforehand.

Make a list of things to do.

Research suggests that if you know exactly what you’re going to do, you can get it done faster. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll just keep running in circles like a mouse on a wheel.

A To-Do List is a list of things you need to do, and when you check them off, you can cross them off the list. Free Android apps for making and managing to-do lists are plenty.

Shut Down All notifications

Includes all Unwanted Communications Like Emails, Texts, and Pop-Ups

Did you ever notice how many notifications, promotional messages, YouTube video suggestions, marketing emails, and who knows what else flood your inbox as soon as you activate your phone?

You get bogged down, it’s difficult to respond to everything, you lose valuable time, and eighty percent of the notifications you receive are pointless noise.

Instead than responding to the 80% of spam emails that aren’t actually beneficial, why not just block them?

This is why you shouldn’t disable the autoplay function on YouTube, as it suggests content that you won’t even bother watching.

Reasons to stop receiving the 80% of Facebook’s alerts that you don’t care about.

So, when are you planning on making this change? It makes no sense to put it off any longer. I agree, have it done right away! Keep out all the fluff!

With your newfound freedom, enjoy the fruits of your labor and welcome to the real world, J.

To focus on the most important

Have you ever realized how easily you become sidetracked when working on something crucial? There are instances when you receive a phone Notification and a voice in your head encourages you to check it. There are times when grating noises prevent you from concentrating on your tasks at hand. When you’re in the middle of an important project, the world seems to end.

Actually, it’s as easy as it seems. Maintain a central point of interest. Imagine you have a laser pointer and you have to hit the exact middle of a circle. You keep bringing it back on target after it veers off. The same should be done with your concentration. If your thoughts wander, gently guide them back on track and give it some time to settle.

Focus on Process, Not Outcome

If I told you to climb a mountain and a helicopter whisked you to the peak, would that be incredible, or would the experience of climbing the mountain on your own provide you greater satisfaction? Ultimately, the decision is yours.

Your actions are all subject to the same rules. To avoid Efforts that yield Outcomes, one should Have fun while you’re at it Just take it all in and relish the moment. Increase your output with the power of positive thinking and self-affirmation.
